It started with one strap.
I wanted to see a new strap on my own watch before ordering it, and found that no shop could show me. So I built a tool that could.
From Strap Finder to Watch Try-On
The first version was called Strap Finder: upload a photo of your watch, pick a strap, see the two together. Watch enthusiasts started using it, and then strap and watch retailers asked whether it could run on their own product pages, with their own catalog. That became Watch Try-On: the same idea, extended to the wrist, so a shopper sees a watch at its real size on their own arm.
How we work
- Every product is prepared from the retailer's own photos and quality-checked before it is live.
- A product that cannot be rendered faithfully is held back rather than shown wrong.
- The free try-on on this site and the app stay available to enthusiasts; that is where it began.
